Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast!

“One can’t believe impossible things.” “I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen.

“When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.” – Lewis Carroll via Gay Hendricks, The Corporate Mystic

IMAG1544So… I just quit my job!  I know, crazy, right?!?  Somehow I feel great! I feel that my life’s passion is within my reach and I have committed to living in my “zone of genius“.  Believe me, I came to enjoy the security of a nice salary and did enjoy my work most of the time… But I realized I was wearing a mask even though I tried my hardest not to.

Do you know the feeling? When you can’t quite put your finger on it, but something just doesn’t feel quite like you, maybe you don’t even recognize yourself at all. That kind of scared me because I wore so many masks in my 20’s that I completely lost myself all together. After seeking deep within myself to bring out the real me, I thrive on feeling totally real in every moment, and knew I had to change something in my life.2010-03-08 06.12.51compressedcropped

I love to shake things up and feel the creativity that insecurity can inspire in me!  It’s really crazy I’m this brave and I’m so proud of myself! I’m throwing myself into my life’s passion which is being a pet advocate and also helping to create happiness in my life and those around me!

What can I say, except that I’ve been practicing thinking of and believing impossible things lately, so much so that I call them my new goals!

What I’ve done, am doing and hope to do to live my happiest life :-)
